The legal obligations of the Globish Foundation:

The objects for which the Foundation is established are to:

1. promote the adoption of Globish for international communication;
2. research and develop appropriate English vocabularies and grammars for use as Globish including specialized vocabularies for use as extensions of Globish;
3. research and develop appropriate non-lexical strategies for facilitating communication in Globish;
4. research, develop, publish and sell translation, learning, teaching, testing and certification resources and services for Globish;
5. ensure Globish maintains standard lexical, grammatical and structural rules of English;
6. standardise Globish with international consensus;
7. enable the learning of Globish by anyone, anywhere, free of charge;
8. and to promote such other charitable, public educational and social objectives as the Members may from time to time approve.

The Foundation must pursue charitable purposes only and must apply its income in promoting those purposes. In doing so the Foundation shall not make any payments or distributions to its Members nor pay any fees to its Trustees, and may not make any payments to a Trustee without the prior approval of the other Trustees.
